Monday 13th February is UNESCO’s World Radio day.
UNESCO attributes radio as being the most widely consumed medium globally, and highlights how It’s unique ability to reach out the widest audience means radio can shape a society’s experience of diversity, stand as an arena for all voices to speak out, be represented and heard.
So on World Radio Day lets give a big shout out to our very own MônFM, who keep us informed and entertained from Brecwast MônFM through to Soul on Sunday with Tony Jones! Mike Hooton on MônFM is one of my all time favourite DJs.
I have my own slot on MônFM on Friday evenings - do please join me!
Thank you too to Minister Mims Davies MP for giving our fantastic Ynys Môn RNLI team a shout out on her regular Sunday Mid Sussex radio show.
