𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸!

The RSST Red Squirrel Survival Trust note that fewer than 287,000 red squirrels remain in the UK.

Thanks to a re-introduction programme, Anglesey has become a go-to destination in Wales to see red squirrels, from Plas Newydd House and Garden, to The Dingle in Llangefni and the award winning Penrhos Nature Reserve.

I am privileged to be an honorary member of the Red Squirrel Trust Wales after visiting and the team and helping with fundraising.

I also wrote to Isle of Anglesey County Council earlier this year after constituents wrote to me expressing concern over the lack of brown road signs on the approach to Penrhos – which I am pleased to see has recently been rectified.
