Thank you for the kind invitation from the Ynys Môn Angling Association to spend the afternoon with them.
I met with Balifs Chris Chandler and Gareth Jones and the Chairman Nick Massey and Treasurer Ken Parry at Langdons (great service from Euron and delicious food by Jacob!) followed by a trip around Holyhead Breakwater Country Park (which has a fabulous warden in William John Stewart and brilliant new playground!) to see the beautiful lake.
Work is underway at the Park on a new £400,000 investment to improve and modernise the facilities for visitors - including redeveloping the Warden's building to create a new information hub and upgrade the North Wales Wildlife Trust kiosk and modernise the toilet facilities. Completion is expected November 2022.
