It is disappointing that reports have resurfaced following the recent heavy rainfall after weeks of drought, claiming to list the MPs who “voted to pump sewage into our waters.”
This is untrue – as a responsible citizen, a member of the Conservative Environment Network and as MP for an island community, I would never vote for that.
I have previously explained how this claim is untrue, after it was misreported by the Opposition that I had voted to pump raw sewage into our waters.
On Anglesey it is the 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 that is responsible for duties on the waters.
