The day was created by Chelsey Baker, an award-winning business mentor to help encourage and celebrate mentoring in all its forms.
I was the first person in my family to stay on at school beyond the age of 16 - because someone kindly reached out to mentor me.
Kerry Davies-Jones is campaigning to raise awareness of mental health issues - following the death of her son recently to suicide - and is aiming to set up a mentoring and buddy service for teenagers and young people who have problems - you can read her story in the news article linked below.
She would love to have support and encouragement from others.
Please kindly email me and I will connect you with Kerry.
