Congratulations to all those - especially Anglesey Council and the team at Stena Line - for working so hard on our islands bid to win Freeport status.
This demonstrates what we can achieve when we work together in such a constructive way.
It was wonderful to celebrate with Cllr Hywel Williams Llafur - Holyhead's next mayor. I am very much looking forward to working with him and supporting him - we have a shared determination to make Holyhead an even better place to live and work.
