Ynys Môn MP Virginia Crosbie has thanked the 24 ‘kind volunteers’ who turned up to help her litter pick at Trearddur Bay beach yesterday.
Ten bags of rubbish were collected at the beauty spot as part of Spring Clean Cymru after Virginia put out the call for people to get involved.
Due to Covid restrictions only 25 people could join in the two-hour event.
“I was humbled to be joined by so many kind volunteers who gave up their time to make a difference to our island through My Big Anglesey Beach Clean,” said Virginia.
“The effort was well worth it as the beach and dunes are looking much better now ten bags of litter are gone for good.
“Many thanks to everyone who came along when they said they would. And thanks to my team for organising the event.”
