Ynys Môn MP Virginia Crosbie is urging islanders to apply to come to Westminster and watch Prime Minister’s Questions from the public gallery.
This week Olive Stuart from Holyhead came to the capital and met up with Virginia in parliament. She then listened to PMQs and later met Boris Johnson.
Virginia is allocated two tickets each month for constituents to come to PMQs. Those who apply can also have lunch with her.
“Every MP has this allocation and it is important they advertise it so that people can come down and see our democracy in action,” said Virginia.
“It was a pleasure to have Olive here and, although I cannot guarantee everyone will get to meet the PM, I can guarantee they will have a great time touring the Palace of Westminster and meeting interesting people.”
Olive, who works for Avanti on the island added: “I’ve lived on Anglesey for almost 25 years and work on the railway.
“It’s great to see the changes and opportunities coming to Anglesey thanks to Virginia’s enthusiasm and commitment to the island.”
