Ynys Môn MP signs up The Oyster Catcher Bar and Grill for her Innovation Jobs Fair

Ynys Môn MP Virginia Crosbie has met up with staff at The Oyster Catcher Bar and Grill in Rhosneigr after the eatery signed up to be part of her Innovation Jobs Fair.

The business has a reputation for taking on young people to train them in hospitality and Virginia talked with Tommy Hughes the General Manager about its ethos.

Virginia was also shown how the expansion and development of the restaurant is going and was told The Oyster Catcher is looking for new staff.

“This is a business that is really helping young people onto the jobs and careers ladder and I am delighted it has signed up to the fair on 1st July,” said Virginia.

“It is also clear that The Oyster Catcher is really going to continue its success as we move from lockdown with exciting expansion plans and much-needed job opportunities on the island.”

Already businesses have said they will take part in the fair, which will adhere to any covid regulations. A decision is to be taken later whether it will be at a location on Anglesey or online.

However, Virginia would like more businesses to sign up whatever the format. Please email her at Virginia.Crosbie.mp@parliament.uk
