A PPS is an unpaid role in Government designed to help Ministers and Secretaries of State to keep Parliamentarians updated on their Department’s work. The role serves to better communicate the work of Government to Parliament and increase Ministerial accountability.
I was honoured to be asked in February 2020 to serve as PPS to Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, and Health Ministers in Boris Johnson’s Government.
